If you’re looking for an easy back to school student gift you’re in the right place!
I recently posted this picture on my Instagram account (follow me), and I got lots of requests to make it available!
Aside from a welcoming smile, and warm environment, I think a small gift to give students is a great way to get started on a positive note.
But here’s the thing, I don’t have time at the beginning of the year (or any other time for that matter) to make or find an elaborate or time-consuming gift for students.
I need an easy back to school student gift that won’t break the bank, and that I know students will enjoy.
When Do I Give Students Their Gift
Personally, I’ve found that giving students this easy back to school gift at the end of the first day turns out best. Here’s why:
- I don’t have to worry about siblings wanting a gift at open house
- Students are able to play with their maze while I’m trying to make sure everyone is going home correctly
- It ensures our day ends on a positive note
Materials for Easy Back to School Student Gift
- Printable Gift Tag
- Mazes (Target in the Party Supply section – $3 for a pack of 18)
- There are THESE smiley face mazes from Amazon – $7 for a pack of 24)
- Scissors
- Double-Sided Tape
I printed the gift tags on card stock to make them a big sturdier, but I didn’t waste time laminating – there’s no need.
These mazes also make an easy (and inexpensive) birthday gift for students. You can prep them before school starts and have them ready to go all year long.
